Innocence...
Innocence, innocence, innocence, heartbreaking
innocence....
We remember our innocence,
It was nothing but senselessness,
We followed it across mute milestones,
Set in various time zones.
Innocence, innocence, innocence, heartbreaking
innocence....
It’s crazy how those days passed us by,
Unknowingly, it was just like yesterday,
Oh! We were so trusting and insane,
We endured so much and gave back pain.
Innocence, innocence, innocence, heartbreaking
innocence....
Are we here to lose our innocence?
To a corporate life and our own senescence?
One day, I promise, those days will come
back,
And we will no longer be afraid of the
dark.
Innocence, innocence, innocence, heartbreaking
innocence....

Freedom
I know this world isn’t a friendly place
any more
I know I am not here ‘cos I don’t belong
anywhere
I know this ain’t my own complaint, no,
it’s not true
I know you all feel the same; all are of my
view.
I want my freedom, I want a free world
I want to be there for the entire human
race
I want the sun and wind to touch my face
I want the wide world to be a better place.
I want my music, I don’t want this noise
And this cacophony isn’t one of my joys
This petty fake piracy offends my freedom
I want my software free from officialdom
(refrain)
I want these killings to stop in our
country
I want the world to stop this banditry
I want the bloodshed to end in your land
I want you to be free, please understand.
Fires of the Faithless
Tonight the wild hordes burned the timber
mills
Charred to earth the festering slums upon
hills
Burnt books, flags and holy sacraments
Psalms, chronicles and holy testaments.
Burn, burn, raging fires of the faithless
tonight,
Turn off the lights; burn this glittering
city of lights.
We cowered weeping in our tin houses
Our brothers, sisters and our spouses
Before they raped, desecrated, and rent
Us in the consuming fire of their
discontent.
Burn, burn, raging fires of the faithless
tonight,
Turn off the lights; burn this glittering
city of lights.
Hey, gun-bearing sword-bearing men of
hatred
Are not your holy books anymore sacred?
Do you realize the fires you start
Will tear this country and its people
apart?
Burn, burn, raging fires of the faithless
tonight,
Turn off the lights; torch this glittering
city of lights.
Nirbhaya
NIRBHAYA
On a wintry night in New Delhi
On a cold and empty street
You walk in silence in the darkness...
Nirbhaya... nirbhaya
Nirbhaya... nirbhaya
Nirbhaya... nirbhaya
Nirbhaya... nirbhaya
The city has gone to sleep already
The theatres they are closing for the night
The malls are dark and empty
Refrain ...
The bus stops and you get it
There are bestial men inside, you don’t
know
They molest you and rape you.
Refrain...
They throw you on the cold street
There’s no one there to hear your cries
You die in a few days.
Refrain...

Stop This War
Stop this war, I want to go home
I have a mother, father, sister, and brother back home.
Why am I here seeing people killed, I don't know,
I am sick, tired, and hungry and want to be alone.
Stop this war, I want to go home,
I have a mother, father, sister, and brother back home...
I am a peace-keeper, but I haven't known any peace,
Out here its sound of guns, bombs, mines, of the beasts.
I remember my countryside, its rivers, and mountains,
It's a barren desert here, there's nothing but guns and ammunition.
Stop this war, I want to go home,
I have a mother, father, sister, and brother back home...
Everywhere I look, there's death, destruction and tears,
Our dreams have given way to nightmares and fears.
Leaders in tall towers, wearing suits, in air-conditioned cars,
Look at your brothers and father living behind bars.
Stop this war, I want to go home,
I have a mother, father, sister, and brother back home...
